PUBLIC HEARING - ADOPTION OF ORDINANCE 600.55 REZONE BOUNDED BY EL CAMINO REAL, CENTER,
LINDEN AND WOODSIDE ROAD TO C- 1 -H -F. Affidavit of `publication was ordered filed by
the Mayor. Letter from Mr. and Mrs. Agbayani opposing. the rezoning of Lots 6 and 7 and
requesting that they be notified officially of any application for a change in the var-
iance between the Hinman property and theirs. The Agbayanis had no objections to the
rezoning of the rear of Mrs. Morgan's lot.
Councilman Granger moved that the letter be made a part of the record and that some
provision be set up whereby interested parties should be officially,,notified of any
applications for variances, seconded by Councilman Spillers and carri.
We understand that the second public hearing on Resolution #1830 •., the City
Council, regarding the rezoning of an area including the rear 37 feet o Lots 6,
7, 8, Block 1, Center Street, is to be on your agenda April 12. We atte , ed your
last meeting of March 22 when your approval was given on the application c.ncern-
ing the same rear 37 feet of these lots, signed by the Morgan Agbayanis and the
Hinmans.
As you have had this problem before you for some months, and we, as new pr.-
perty owners, knew so little of the matter, we felt it wise to write you in adva e.
of the April 12th meeting in order to give you an opportunity to study the new pro
blem inasmuch as we are concerned. We are the Agbayani's and have Lot 7, the
center lot, and, as you know, Mrs. Morgan has the corner lot with frontage on Lin-
den. Also, we share a driveway with the Hinman property.
When we first moved, our neighbor, Mrs. Morgan, explained her plan for a
business, and how much trouble it has been and would we be opposed to rezoning.
