8.A. - Page 5 <br /> work for the fiscal year July 2011 to June 2012, which is in addition to the work scope <br /> previously approved for special counsel services in February 2011. <br /> In addition to the scopes of work described below, and further detailed in the <br /> attachments, the City has established a contingency amount, subject to authorization by <br /> the City Manager, in order to address scope items not anticipated at this time and/or <br /> beyond the defined scopes of work. <br /> Data I nsti n cts <br /> Data Instincts' revised scope of services includes continued support to the Redwood <br /> City staff for the purpose of providing public information about the Saltworks project. <br /> The consultant has been tasked with developing communications materials and <br /> systems in coordination with City staff on an as-needed basis. These items include, but <br /> are not limited to, a variety of informational materials such as fact sheets, Web page <br /> updates, educational pieces, letters, and e-mail broadcasts (Attachment 3). <br /> The revised scope of work is intended to cover anticipated work from July 2011 through <br /> June 2012. Contract Amendment No. 4 is in the amount of $75,000.00, taking the total <br /> contract value, including previous amendments, to $440,500.00 ($75,000 + $180,000 + <br /> $90,000 + $36,000 + $59,500). <br /> Hart Howerton <br /> Hart Howerton will continue to provide support to City staff for the overall project <br /> coordination and management of the Saltworks development review process. Included <br /> in this responsibility is contract management for several technical sub-consultants. Hart <br /> Howerton, including sub-consultants, are acting as an extension of staff with the <br /> express purpose of representing the City in the development review process. The <br /> revised scope of services will focus on co-management of the Environmental Review <br /> Management Team (ERMT); assisting the City in reviewing the development proposal; <br /> supporting the City's environmental review process pursuant to the California <br /> Environmental Quality Act (CEQA); and associated communications (Attachment 5). <br /> The revised scope of work is intended to cover anticipated work from July 2011 through <br /> June 2012. Contract Amendment No. 5 is in the amount of $1,150,172.00 taking the <br /> total contract value, including previous amendments, to $2,769,496.00 ($1,150,172 + <br /> $868,274 + $301,050 + $97,736 + $18,000 + 334,264). <br /> Hauqe Brueck Associates <br /> Hauge Brueck Associates, as the lead environmental consultant, has the responsibility <br /> of coordinating and producing analysis of the proposed Saltworks project pursuant the <br /> California Environmental Quality Act, in the form of an Environmental Impact Report <br /> (EIR). Included in this effort, under this next scope of work, are the preparation of a <br /> Scoping Report, a second Notice of Preparation, drafting of the Administrative Draft <br /> Environmental Impact Report, and assisting the City in reviewing the development <br /> proposal.
