Attach 6.1.G. - Page 3 <br /> May 24, 2011 <br /> Mr. Robert Slusser, President <br /> Peninsula Celebration Association <br /> 463 Brewster Street#4 <br /> Redwood City, CA 94063 <br /> Dear Mr. Slusser: <br /> The City Council on May 23, 2011, has authorized me to issue this letter permitting <br /> the Peninsula Celebration Association (PCA) to conduct the 4t" of July Parade, Fun <br /> Run, Festival, Arts & Crafts Festival, and Car Show. These events are subject to <br /> and in accordance with the terms and conditions herein. <br /> Permission is granted to the Peninsula Celebration Association ("Permittee"), by the <br /> City of Redwood City ("City"). This permit is subject to the following terms and <br /> cond itions: <br /> 1. Parade and Arts & Crafts Festival: Permittee shall sponsor said activities. <br /> 2. Revocation: This permit may be revoked at any time without cause by the <br /> C ity. <br /> 3. Non-Transferability: This permit is non-transferable. <br /> 4. Location: The parade will be conducted in the areas detailed on the <br /> attached map provided by the PCA in their letter dated March 17, 2011. <br /> Parade staging areas require road closures throughout the Centennial <br /> Neighborhood. The festival will be conducted on Middlefield from Veterans <br /> to Marshall, Hamilton from Marshall to Bradford, and Bradford from Hamilton <br /> to a portion of the roadway slightly north of Jefferson. The Let's Talk Events <br /> car show will be conducted on Broadway from Winslow to Theatre Way, <br /> Hamilton from Broadway to Marshall, and Middlefield from Broadway to <br /> Marshall. Minor alterations to the parade route and festival areas may be <br /> required to facilitate these events. Should alterations be required, any <br /> 1 <br />
