( E-32- <br />EXHIBIT A <br />CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br />SERVICE LEAGUE OF SAN MATEO COUNTY — EMERGENCY MATERIAL <br />ASSISTANCE <br />FISCAL YEAR 2003 / 2004 <br />CONTRACT OBJECTIVES <br />- Provide food (up to 3 days) for 350 released inmates, their families <br />and or the families of inmates who reside in Redwood City. <br />Provide short -term emergency housing for 225 released inmates <br />and their families when no other assistance is available. <br />Provide supportive counseling, networking support, employment <br />counseling, and direct referral to assist 400 Redwood City <br />residents in resolving their emergency. <br />
