CONCEPTUAL DESIGN <br /> <br />A. <br /> <br />Prepare Site Analysis Diagrams <br /> <br />J. <br /> <br />Shadow study diagrams: prepare diagrams that show shadows of buildings in order to <br />inform the location and layout of activity and seating areas on the site relative to sun and <br />shade. Diagrams will demonstrate where sunny and shady areas will be at various times of <br />day and times of year. <br /> <br />a. <br /> <br />Historic Courthouse building and surrounding existing buildings - this version <br />will analyze the anticipated shadow pattern of the Historic Courthouse building <br />and its surroundings after both annex structures are removed, and with the existing <br />buildings on the surrounding blocks. <br /> <br />b. <br /> <br />Historic Courthouse building and surrounding (future) buildings - this version will <br />further anticipate a worst-case maximum beight build-out of surrounding vacant <br />parcels or sites that could redevelop and resulting shadows. <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />General Site Analysis: Prepare a diagram of the site that analyzes important views to and <br />from the site, existing and anticipated pedestrian movement and access, important <br />
