Redwood City Courthouse Plaza, Pavilions & Fa~ade Lighting 11 March 2005 Page 2 of 6 1.5 Coordination Meetings in San Francisco with Architect and Landscape Architect to discuss preliminary computer renderings to be prepared by the Architect or Others (time for two (2) meetings attended by a Principal of the firm or the Project Director is included in the fee). 1.6 Conceptual design and analysis to assist the Architect and Landscape Architect in preparation of a preliminary computer rendering including the proposed lighting design solutions. Deliverables will consist of sketches, preliminary calculations and concept images to communicate the lighting design intent to the Architect. This proposal assumes that the Lighting Designer will not prepare the actual computer renderings but will coordinate to improve the accuracy of the nighttime lighting represented in the renderings prepared by the Architect or Others. 1.7 Review of preliminary cost estimate(s) prepared by Others, as related to the lighting. 1.8 Preliminary design and layouts of proposed lighting fixtures on transparencies provided by the Architect and Landscape Architect or editing of preliminary CAD files prepared by the Architect or Landscape Architect. 1.9 Review meeting in San Francisco with Architect, Landscape Architect and the Contractor (time for one (1) meeting attended by a Principal of the firm or the Project Director is included in the fee). 1.10 Updated design and layouts of proposed lighting fixtures on transparencies provided by the Architect and Landscape Architect or editing of preliminary CAD files prepared by the Architect or Landscape Architect. Updated layouts will be incorporated in the 60% set by the Architect, Landscape Architect, and Electrical Engineer. 1.11 Electric light level calculations (illuminance and luminance), as required for in-house verification of the lighting design concepts. 1.12 Preliminary lighting fixture schedule and preliminary cuts and/or detail drawings of proposed lighting fixtures to be incorporated in documents prepared by the Electrical Engineer, Landscape Architect and Architect. 1.13 Specifications for the lighting fixtures. (Section 16500). Phase II (Contract Documents) will consist of the following: 2.1 Conference in San Francisco with Architect, Landscape Architect and the Contractor (time for two (2) meetings attended by a Principal of the firm or the Project Director is included in the fee). 2.2 Preparation of final layouts of proposed lighting fixtures after receipt of comments on 60% Contract Documents on transparencies provided by the Architect or Landscape Architect or editing of preliminary CAD files prepared by the Architect or Landscape Architect. 2.3 Assistance with coordination of lighting design with landscape, architectural, structural, electrical and mechanical design. 2.4 Final lighting fixture schedule and final cuts and/or detail drawings of proposed lighting fixtures to be incorporated in documents prepared by the Electrical Engineer and Architect. 2.5 Updated specifications for the lighting fixtures. (Section 16500). 2.6 Review of 60% cost estimate prepared by the Cost Estimator or Contractor, and preparation of written comments as related to the lighting design. 2.7 Review of final Contract Documents as prepared by the Landscape Architect and his Consultants, and as related to the lighting (time for one (1) review and redline prior to 95% Contract Documents is included in the fee).
