OA-93 <br />Commissioner Piulle commented on an article in Sundays Chronicle regarding the <br />reduction of landfill. She said Redwood City did not make the 2000 -2001 cut -off for 50% <br />reduction of garbage collection /recycling. <br />Commissioner asked staff if the City has a free recyc. ng service. <br />Ms. Riordan said that there is a County program whereby guidelines are given to cities <br />that want to participate.
