Charles Jany <br /> May 19, 2011 <br /> Page 4 <br /> ICF prepared the required NEPA compliance documentation, including an environmental <br /> assessment, Section 106 cultural resources report, and cultural resources treatment plan. The <br /> project includes construction of water and sewer infrastructure in existing roadways to support the <br /> approved North San Pedro Mixed Use Housing Project, which consists of approximately 60,000 <br /> square feet of commercial uses and approximately 1,500 residential units. The redevelopment <br /> project received federal funds from EPA, with EPA as the federal agency and the City of San <br /> Jose as the local responsible agency. Primary issues were cultural resources, traffic, and air <br /> quality. <br /> Sobrato Fountain Park Office Development IS —City of Mountain View, <br /> California <br /> ICF prepared the IS /negative declaration for the demolition of an existing office building, <br /> construction of a new 102,500 -sf 4 -story office building, and construction of a 3 -level 400 -space <br /> parking garage. Issues included hazardous materials associated with groundwater contamination; <br /> noise and vibration associated with adjacent light rail operation; and increased traffic. <br />
