4 <br /> WINZLER(SLKELLY City of Redwood City <br /> March 30, 2011 <br /> Page 3 <br /> Task 3 — Final Design (100% Submittal) <br /> This Final Design Submittal (100 %) will be prepared based on City's direction provided in <br /> Task 2.2 above. The Plans, Specifications, and Engineer's Estimate of the Probable <br /> Construction Cost (Bid Documents) will be submitted to the City for its use in preparing a bid <br /> package. <br /> Task 3.1 Prepare 100% Bid Document Submittal <br /> Winzler & Kelly will prepare the 100% submittal package consisting of site plan, demolition <br /> drawings, general and construction notes, connection details, structural details, technical <br /> specifications and an engineer's estimate of the probable construction cost. The 100% submittal <br /> package will be submitted to the City for review and approval. <br /> Plans will be prepared at a scale of 1 " =20' (unless otherwise approved by the City). It is <br /> anticipated that the following plan sheets (10 total sheets) will be included in the 100% <br /> submittal: <br /> Sheet Description <br /> Site Plan and Notes — (2) <br /> Hatch Demolition/Replacement Plans (using existing as -built images) — (2) <br /> Hatch Replacement Typical Details — (2) <br /> Pump Station #25 Plan/Elevation — (1) <br /> Piping Details — (1) <br /> Structural Details — (1) <br /> Wet Well Repair and Relining Details — (1) <br /> Assumptions: <br /> • AutoCAD layouts will not be developed for the seventeen (17) pump stations. The City <br /> will provide electronic ( tij images of the pump station as- builts which will be used as a <br /> background for the development of demolition/hatch replacement details. <br /> • No additional improvements will be designed at the pump stations other than Pump <br /> Station #25. <br /> • Geotechnical investigations to determine the extent and cause of settlement are excluded <br /> from this scope of work.. <br /> • The City of Redwood City will provide all front end documents and compile the bid <br /> package. <br /> Deliverables: 100% Plans — Submit FIVE (5) copies of half -size plans to the City for review <br /> and approval. <br /> 100% Specifications — Submit FIVE (5) copies of Project Specifications <br /> 100% Estimate of Probable Construction Costs — Submit THREE (3) updated <br /> copies to the City for review. <br />
