<br />8.í3-3~ <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RESTATING POLICY REGARDING DEVELOPMENT OF <br />CERTAIN PARCELS OF REAL PROPERTY ON LAUREL WAY IN THE <br />CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AND REPEALING RESOLUTION 14111 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, in 1988 this Council established a policy regarding development of <br /> <br />parcels of real property fronting on that portion of Laurel Way in the City of Redwood <br /> <br />City remaining in private ownership; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said policy provides that, prior to the development of any such <br /> <br />parcels, an area-wide environmental impact report shall be prepared for the <br /> <br />development of all such unimproved parcels, in order to address the cumulative <br /> <br />significant effects upon the environment of development of any such parcel; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on December 18, 2000, this Council adopted Resolution 14111 to <br /> <br />restate and make more specific said policy; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this Council desires to again restate and make more specific said <br /> <br />policy. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> <br />REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. FindinQs. This Council hereby finds and declares as follows: <br /> <br />a. Laurel Way, as platted for subdivision prior to annexation of the properties <br /> <br />fronting thereon to the City of Redwood City, has a theoretical plotted <br /> <br />width of 50 feet. Laurel Way extends approximately 1200 feet from its <br /> <br />intersection with Highland Avenue westerly and then northerly, terminating <br /> <br />in a cul-de-sac.
