7.A-J7

1. The applicant shall submit a report from a qualified acoustics engineer, which
shall include the following information: existing night time ambient sound level
at the nearest residential property line; estimated equipment sound level at the
nearest residential property line. The purpose of the report is to demonstate
that the noise level of the equipment as measured at the nearest residential
property line is no more than 3 dBa greater than the nighttime ambient level
and thus imperceptible. The report shall be submitted with the application for a
Building Permit.
2. The applicant shall install the equipment enclosure to the satisfaction of the City
prior to the operation of the subject facility.
3. The wireless facility shall be maintained (inside and out) to an optimal working
condition at all times.
4. Any significant increase in noise levels reported by the neighbors shall be
promptly and expeditiously, as determined by the City, repaired and reduced to
the originally approved noise levels. In the event that sound levels are
determined to be significantly higher (as determined by the City, but generally
3-5 db above ambient noise level) than anticipated, the City may revise the
conditions of this Permit in order to bring the proposed equipment noise to a
satisfactory level, as determined by the City.
5. Routine maintenance of equipment shall be conducted only during the hours of
7 AM to 8 PM weekdays, per Redwood City Municipal Code, not including
holidays. Emergency repairs and maintenance shall be conducted only in the
cases of power outages and equipment failure or malfunction. Equipment
"change out" and overhaul can only occur after 30 days notice to Redwood City
Planning.

3. Aesthetics:

Findings.'
. The Architectural Review Committee (ARC) reviewed the proposed project and
made recommendations to ensure the visual impacts associated with the
proposed project are minimized to the extent possible. In addition, the Zoning
Administrator made the finding, based on the ARC's recommendations, that the
antennas and associated equipment are not significantly visible because they
will be adequately screened within a church steeple and brick enclosure,
respectively, which will be constructed in an architectural style consistent with
the existing church building. Furthermore, the proposed steeple is found to
enhance the church's architecture. As a result, the panel antennas will not be
visible. Additionally, the conduit between the antennas and equipment will be
fully concealed with the architecture of the church.

Conditions.'
6. All conduit and any other mechanical/electrical connectors shall be completely
concealed and the cable tray shall be concealed along the vertical façade
element.
