�'•�i -11 <br /> SBSA and City, as producer and distributor of Recycled Water, respectively, <br /> agree that the responsibilities shall be allocated as described on Attachment Four. <br /> The Parties intend that this Agreement satisfy the requirement in RWQCB <br /> General Order 96-011.C.1, but agree to provide additional supplementary <br /> information to RWQCB if and as required, <br /> 4.0 OTHER PRECONSTRUCTION ACTIVITIES AND AWARD OF CONTRACT(S) <br /> TO CONSTRUCT FACILITIES <br /> 4.1 Facilities on SBSA Property <br /> The following provisions apply to the award of contract(s) for construction of <br /> facilities located on SBSA's property. <br /> 4.1.1 Preparation of Final Construction Contract and BiddinQ Document <br /> SBSA, with the assistance of the Covello Group, Inc. or another qualified <br /> engineering firm approved by City, will develop construction schedules, <br /> perform constructability reviews of design documents, prepare materials <br /> to use for pre-qualification of contractors, evaluate purchase of long lead- <br /> time construction materials, and other necessary pre-construction <br /> activities. No materials will be purchased by SBSA without prior written <br /> approval by City of the contract terms and price. <br /> 4.1.2 Approval of Construction Contract Documents <br /> T'he final Construction Contract Documents (including plans, <br /> specifications, general conditions, special provisions, instructions to <br /> bidders, proposal forms, etc.) will be prepared by or for SBSA in close <br /> coordination with City. They will include the provisions of the SBSA <br /> Standard Specifications (September 2003 rev. l), including the <br /> requirement that the Construction Contractor comply with all provisions <br /> '7' 1091374.7 <br />
