g-C'�i-13 <br /> 5.0 CONSTRUCTION OF FACILITIES ON SBSA'S PROPERTY <br /> 5.1 Construction Mana ement <br /> SBSA will provide adequate construction management in order to ensure that the <br /> Construction Contractor is constructing the work in compliance with the <br /> Construction Contract Documents. Unless otherwise agreed by the Parties, <br /> principal construction management will be provided by Covello Group, Inc., with <br /> testing and inspection of concrete, soils and pile driving, and cofferdam <br /> construction being performed by specialty subcontractors, and with particular <br /> construction activities being performed by SBSA staff. The principal <br /> construction management activities and the allocation of responsibility are shown <br /> on Attachment Five. <br /> 5.2 Citv's Right to Observe <br /> Representatives of City may observe the construction of facilities on-site but may <br /> not direct, interfere with, or obstruct the contractor or the construction manager. <br /> Representatives of City may attend meetings between SBSA and the Construction <br /> Contractor. SBSA will provide City at least five (5) days' advance notice of <br /> scheduled meetings and will convene such meetings if requested by City. <br /> 5.3 Reports <br /> SBSA will provide City regular reports on the progress of construction at monthly <br /> or more frequent intervals. Such reports will identify any problems, delays, <br /> potential claims or claims filed by the Construction Contractor. <br /> -9- � o9i 3�a.� <br />
