E. Emergency Preparedness Coordinator <br /> One fulltime Emergency Preparedness Coordinator employed by the City of San Carlos <br /> will work under the direct supervision of the Fire Marshal and will be located in Redwood Ciry. <br /> The einergency preparedness workload for the City of San Carlos will be analyzed to determine if <br /> additional capacity is required to fully serve the needs of the City of San Carlos. Some of the <br /> services to evaluate are; emergency planning, Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) <br /> coordination, EOC management, public education etc. The City of Redwood City will pay for <br /> 50% of the full-time position and payments will be made to the City of Sao Carlos on a quarterly <br /> basis. <br /> The following specific additional services will be provided: <br /> • Develop plans and evaluate emergency planning disaster preparedness <br /> • Develop, train and maintain CERT <br /> • Manage the Emergency Operations Center (EOC) <br /> • Monitor public awareness and evaluate training needs <br /> • Develop and provide public education services <br /> STAFF , , „ "+ �•' " FTE.� SERUICF.
