Jaws of Life, performing complex rope and other technical rescue operations. Truck Company <br /> functions are essential to support suppression efforts of Engine Company personnel. Truck <br /> response is required for structure fires in Uie region. At the a�mual review this allocation model <br /> will be evaluated and modified as necessary pursuant to the terms of the Agreement. An analysis <br /> of the feasibility of an alternate method of providing Truck service (i.e. Quint) will be conducted <br /> at the end of year one and delivered to San Carlos for consideration and possible implementation. <br /> ' SERVICE COST � SAN CARLOS SHARE ' <br /> Truck Services $100,000 $100,000 <br /> TOTAL: $100,000 <br /> D. Fire Prevention, Code Enforcement and Investigation Services <br /> Fire prevention oversight and management will be provided by the Redwood City Fire <br /> Marshal located at Fire Administration in Redwood Ciry. One fulltime Fire Inspector employed by <br /> the City of San Carlos will work under the direct supervision of the Fire Marshal and will be <br /> located in San Carlos. The fire prevention workload far the City of San Cazlos will be analyzed to <br /> determine if additional capacity is required to fully serve the needs of the City of San Carlos. <br /> Some of the services to evaluate are; plan checking, permit management, fire code enforcement, <br /> public education, fire investigation services etc. <br /> The following specific activities will be provided: <br /> • Wild land urban interface inspections and enforcement <br /> • State and local mandafed fire and life safety inspections <br /> • Plan Checking <br /> • New construction inspections <br /> • Builder consultation <br /> • Coordination and management of Company Inspection Program <br /> • Develop and provide public education services <br /> • Fire cause and origin determination and investigation of fires within the City of San <br /> Carlos <br /> • Inspection, clearance, and issuance of fire permits <br /> • Serve as a staff inember within the San Carlos emergency operations center during <br /> EOC activations and training exercises <br /> STAFF : '' � :' FTE '."
