SCHEDULE B <br /> <br />I. SERVICES TO BE PERFORMED BY Contractor <br /> <br /> A. S~Y OF SERVICES <br /> <br /> 1. Contractor shall provide continuous uninterrupted <br />advanced life support service 24 hours per day, 7 days a week <br />according to the policies and procedures of the County and any <br />amendments, or additions, thereto and all applicable California <br />laws. Contractor shall respond with a fire apparatus staffed <br />with at least one, currently certified and locally accredited, <br />EMT-Paramedic to all requests determined to need a Priority 1 <br />medical response by an emergency medical dispatcher at the County <br />Communications Public Safety Dispatch Center and may respond to <br />Priority 3 medical responses. <br /> <br /> Not withstanding the foregoing, it is not the intent of this <br />section or any other provision in this agreement to create a <br />mandatory duty upon Contractor to respond so that Contractor is <br />liable to third parties for a failure to provide service and is <br />not the intent to eliminate or limit any governmental immunity <br />that Contractor may have from liability. It is expressly agreed <br />that third parties are not intended to be third party <br />beneficiaries of this provision. Rather the intent of this <br />provision is to define what is a breach of this agreement for <br />purposes of termination and by definition to avoid such <br />termination. <br /> <br /> With respect to breaches of this provision, county <br /> 12 <br /> <br /> <br />
