D. Architectural and Engineering services for the design of a new branch fire station of <br /> approximately 5, 700 square feet (actual final size contingent upon available funding). <br /> Total project funding is estimated to be $1,400,000.00. Actualfinalfunding contingent <br /> upon the Construction Manager/General Contractor's estimate, Architect, City Staff <br /> review and City Council Approval. The new fire station will be based upon the Redwood <br /> Shores Fire Station and Maintenance Facility Program dated July 25, 1996, as prepared <br /> by DES Architects + Engineers, Inc. <br /> <br />E. Architectural and Engineering services associated with the design and development of <br /> site support facilities for the Fire Station site, that may include a visitors parking zone, <br /> staff parking zones, design of an on-site, above ground, fuel station for diesel fuel in <br /> proximity to an emergency generator; with masonry wall enclosure for trash, fuel and <br /> generator. Additionally, design of an electrical conduit and cabling system from the <br /> generator structure to the new pump house structure for the existing City owned water <br /> storage tank being engineered by Kennedy-Jenks, Inc. All site development features will <br /> be based upon the Redwood Shores Fire Station and Maintenance Facility Conceptual <br /> Program dated July 25, 1996, as prepared by DES Architects + Engineers, Inc. <br /> <br />F. The design of the site emergency generator shall be part of this contract. DES will <br /> design a location for generator and establish potential power demand needs for the new <br /> fire station building. The generator shall be sized adequately to provide power for the <br /> existing City owned water storage tank and new fire station. <br /> <br /> The City shall provide power demand needs for the water tank facility and design data on <br /> the methodology for connection to that facility as well as construction scope definition. <br /> <br /> G. Architectural and Engineering services for the design of a new satellite maintenance <br /> facility of approximately 2,500 square feet (actual final size contingent upon available <br /> funding). Total project funding is estimated to be $700,000.00. Actual final funding <br /> contingent upon the Construction Manager/General Contractor's estimate, Architect, <br /> City Staff review and City Council Approval. The new maintenance facility will be based <br /> upon the Redwood Shores Fire Station and Maintenance Facility Conceptual Program <br /> dated July 25, 1996, as prepared by DES Architects + Engineers, Inc. The maintenance <br /> building will be a pre-engineered type structure. <br /> <br />H. Architectural and Engineering services associated with the design and development of <br /> site support facilities for the Maintenance Facility, that may include a visitors parking <br /> zone, staff parking zones, various covered and uncovered storage structures and zones, <br /> design of an on-site, above ground, fuel station for unleaded gasoline. All site <br /> development features will be based upon the Redwood Shores Fire Station and <br /> Maintenance Facility Conceptual Program dated July 25, 1996, as prepared by DES <br /> Architects + Engineers, Inc.
