I. Architectural consultation and process coordination for the selection of a Construction <br /> Manager/General Contractor. This process will be similar to the selection process <br /> developed for the City Hall project currently under construction. It will consist of two <br /> phases. Phase One will be prequalification of Construction Manager/General Contractor, <br /> and Phase Two will be the selection of the Construction Manager/General Contractor. <br /> <br /> Potential additional scope items within the following areas, at City direction: <br /> · Participation in "value engineering" sessions with the Architect and C1WCG. <br /> · Work with Architect to prepare/modify CSI Specification Division 1 documents <br /> to comply with the construction contracting process. <br /> · Work with CM/GC to facilitate a sub-contractor pmqualification, listing, <br /> solicitation and bid receipt and tabulation process that complies with City of <br /> Redwood City legal requirements. <br /> · Facilitate and coordinate the assembly of the final CM/GC's Guaranteed <br /> Maximum Price (GMP) and presentation to City Council for approval. <br /> · Any other construction contract process consulting necessary to implement Phase <br /> A and B as referenced in the CM/GC section of this scope statement. <br /> <br />Phase I Programming Phase <br /> The Programming Phase for this project is complete. <br />Phase II Schematic Design <br /> The Schematic Design Phase for this project is complete. <br /> <br /> A. Participate in a fact finding workshop/listening session with the neighbors <br /> immediately adjacent to the project site(s). The purpose of this workshop will be <br /> to better understand the neighbor's concerns so that they may be incorporated into <br /> the design. City Staff will lead and organize this workshop. <br /> <br /> B. Participate in two community wide (Redwood Shores) design workshop that will <br /> present design alternatives developed with the Redwood City Project Team. The <br /> workshop results will be incorporated into the final design direction. City Staff <br /> will lead and organize these workshop. <br /> <br /> C. Meet with the Redwood City Project Team two times to refine and develop a full <br /> schematic design of the project subsequent to August 19, 1996 public fact finding <br /> workshop. <br /> <br /> D. Working with the Redwood Shores City Project Team, the Design Team will <br /> prepare a design review application package, for the Redwood Shores Owner's <br /> Association review and approval in the following sequence. <br /> <br /> Page 3 of 17 <br /> <br /> <br />
