PART TWO - PHASES 5, 6, AND 7 Revised 1/2/97 <br /> <br />Phase V Construction Documents <br /> <br /> A. Based on the owner approved Design Development Documents and any further <br /> adjustments in the scope or quality of the Project or in the construction budget <br /> authorized by the Owner, the Architect shall prepare, for approval by the Owner, <br /> Construction Documents consisting of Drawings and Specifications setting forth <br /> in detail the requirements for the construction of the Project. All drawings to be <br /> on AutoCad Release 12. <br /> <br /> B. The Architect shall assist the Owner and CM/GC in the preparation of the <br /> necessary bidding information, bidding forms, the Conditions of the Contract. <br /> <br /> C. The Architect shall assist the Owner in connection with the Owner's responsibility <br /> for filing documents required for the approval of governmental authorities having <br /> jurisdiction over the Project. This assistance shall not extend to the preparation of <br /> environmental impact reports, research studies, special services or special tasks, <br /> which services, if requested by the Owner, will be compensated for as additional <br /> service. <br /> <br /> D. Working in conjunction with the CM/GC, we will package the construction <br /> documents as one bid package. <br /> <br /> E. Coordinate with all utility companies by sending power requirements and <br /> drawings to all affected utilities companies as follows: <br /> City of Redwood City Public Works Services Dept., Utilities <br /> Operation and Maintenance Division. <br /> · South Bayside Systems Authority <br /> PG&E - Electrical and Gas Service <br /> · Telephone Company <br /> · Cable TV Service Company <br /> <br /> F. Construction documents to follow all applicable requirements of the City's <br /> Standard Details and Specifications for storm drains, sewer, water, streets, roads, <br /> and landscape and irrigation. <br /> <br /> G. Review of final foundation, grading and landscape plans by the Geotechnical <br /> Engineer for conformance with their reconunendations and issuance of a letter <br /> confirming compliance. These findings will be communicated with members of <br /> the design team. <br /> <br /> H. Meet with the Redwood City Project Team three (3) times throughout this phase <br /> of the project, commencing January 13, 1997 and concluding March 23, 1997. <br /> The two construction document review meetings (50% & 95%) are part of the 3 <br /> meetings referenced within subsection I. <br /> Page 9 of 17 <br /> <br /> <br />
