San Carlos will include in its contract for the above described project <br />provisions for surface drainage improvements, the placement of all traffic striping, and <br />street improvement work, landscaping and irrigation systems within the incorporated area <br />of the City of Redwood city. <br /> <br /> 2. San Carlos will award a contract to the lowest responsible bidder for <br />the complete construction project including, but not limited to, the installation of surface <br />drainage improvements, the placement of traffic striping, landscaping and irrigation <br />systems, and roadway improvement work. <br /> <br /> 3. San Carlos agrees to notify Redwood City of the successful bidder to <br />whom the construction is awarded. <br /> <br /> 4. Redwood City grants San Carlos permission to encroach onto that <br /> portion of Veterans Boulevard between State Highway 101 and the proposed project <br /> limits 670 feet southerly of the City limit, situate within the territory of the City of <br /> Redwood city (as more particularly depicted in Exhibit "A" attached hereto, and by this <br /> reference incorporated herein as if set out in full herein), and to include said Redwood <br /> City portion of Veterans Boulevard in Plans and Specifications to b e entitled, "Project <br /> Plans for Construction on State Highway in San Mateo County in San Carlos and <br /> Redwood City from Whipple Avenue Overcrossing to Holly Street Overcrossing" <br /> <br /> <br />
