Mr Lindo stated that his lot is zoned for seven units but is developed as a single-family home. He suggested that neighbors could tolerate development of a duplex on the sub�ect property Mayor Leipzig invited the applicant (Per Calden) or his representative ' to speak No one was present in the audience to represent the appli- , cant MOTION Councilman Norris moved that the sub�ect public hearing be continued until September 29, 1977 to be certa�n the applicant has had an opportunity to speak It was pointed out that the applicant received notification of the public hearing in accordance with usual public hearing procedures and that no Council meeting is scheduled for September 29. The motion died for lack of a second. Planning Director Schroeter advised that it is his belief the appli- cant is not interested in pursuing the sub�ect PDP appl�cation and that he has applied for and received a permit to construct a duplex on the property MOTION Councilman Norris moved, seconded by Councilman Rhodes, to close the public hearing The motion carried unanimously by voice vote.
