Mr. ' <br /> Fales suggested the report be considered in relation to other <br /> building and facility requirements and priorities in the City <br /> In response to suggestion that City staff might present the report <br /> to a membership meeting of the Redwood Shores Homeowners Association, <br /> Mr Fales stated he would be happy to do so, but that it should be <br /> made clear that the report is presented in the context of the re- <br /> sponsibtlity`of Council to the entire City Mr Fales said that <br /> any meeting on the sub�ect of a fire station with any one part of <br /> the community should be considered a program with Citywide per- <br /> spective being ma m tained� <br /> In response to question regarding fire statistics and possible <br /> patterns, Mr. Fales advised that indices are being developed in order <br /> to obtain better statistical data and observed that in an old city, <br /> buildings exist which were constructed when sprinkler systems, for <br /> example, were not required. Mr. Fales advised that considerable <br /> attention�is being given to fire prevention. <br /> There being no ob�ection, Mayor Leipzig ordered the sub�ect report <br /> referred to the January 31, 1977 seminar for consideration with <br /> other matters to be discussed at that time.
