422 � <br /> , <br /> �� <br /> Seniors Drop-In Center ' <br /> A problem had been reported to Council by Sally Salinas, Director <br /> of the Senior Drop-In Center, regarding the need to provide senior <br /> citizens with transportation between their homes and the Seniors' <br /> Drop-In Center, the inability of many to pay the fifty-cent SamTrans <br /> fare, and the need to restore funds for the purpose in the County , <br /> bud9et It was suggested by Council that the matter be referred to <br /> staff to determine the exact needs of the senior citizens and whether <br /> the request has merit. (Memo 10/18/77) <br /> Airport Land Use Coimnittee request <br /> Councilman Norris advised that the ALUC had prepared a report on <br /> supersonic transport operations in the'United States and urged that <br /> Council adopt a resolution in opposition to allowing supersonic air- <br /> craft landing rights at San Francisco International Airport.
