Dalton, First United <br /> Methodist Church of Redwood City <br /> Roll Call <br /> Councilmen present• Biagi, Bury, Norris, Rhodes, Vega and Vice Mayor <br /> Barrett <br /> Councilmen absent: Mayor Leipzig <br /> Officials and staff present City Manager Fales, City Attorney <br /> Schricker, Assistant City Manager Smith, City Clerk Hildebrand and <br /> ' Public Works Director Pusich, Planning Director Schroeter, Parks and <br /> Recreation Director Weeks, Chief Building Official Gyselbrecht, <br /> Build�ng and Transportation Director Balsamo, Police Chief Bold <br /> A�proval of Minutes - Februarv 7, 1977 <br /> MOTION Councilman Norris moved, seconded by Councilman Biagi, that <br /> the Minutes of the City Council Meeting of february 7, 1977 be <br /> approved as submitted with a correction on page 7 to the statement <br /> attributed to Don Warren, that the statement is in error and the <br /> dtke has been breached <br /> City Attorney Schricker advised that the requested correction is not <br /> a proper correction of the Minutes, whether or not Mr. Warren's <br /> statement is true, since the Minutes report what was said by him. <br /> City Manager Fales pointed out that statements of speakers at Council <br /> meetings cannot be altered later as "corrections" to the Minutes and <br /> suggested that if Councilman Norris believes the sub�ect statement <br /> to be inaccurate, a notation in the Minute Book might be possible. <br /> CHANGE OF MOTION. Councilman Norris withdrew his correction and, <br /> with the consent of his second, requested that a notation be made <br /> in the Minute Book in an appropriate place to indicate that fol- <br /> , lowing his tnspection of the dike in question, it is his personal <br /> observation that the dike has been breached <br /> ADDITION TO MOTION� Councilman Vega requested that a correction <br /> be made on page 9 to reflect that Councilman Vega will attend the <br /> Reg.Mtg. <br /> 2/14/77 <br /> �, <br />
