Ms Salinas advised that <br /> � a request had been made for $9,500 �nstead of the $7,500 recom- <br /> ' \ mended on a contingency basis because of the possibility that the <br /> additional $2,000 may be needed for building rental in the event <br /> application for a grant is den�ed by the Area Agency on Aging <br /> Discussion followed and it was pointed out that for the last budget <br /> ' ' year a s�milar contin9ency amount was requested and returned when <br /> i 1 a grant made it possible to do so It was su9gested that the <br /> � supplemental amount might be requested later if it is needed. <br /> i <br /> � Frank Esposito, 2434 Oregon, stated he is willing to take care of <br /> ' those in the immediate area who need assistance, but ob�ects to <br /> the increase in the number of minority persons moving here.
