Mr Halstead indicated that it is his understanding that his company will have to work with the property owners�on Upland and noted that he has been worktng with the Department of Public Works in order that there will be a srtaoth transition with regard to roads in the area. - Discussion followed concerning the streets under consideration and in- volved in the pro�ect, and Deputy Director of Public Works-Engineering Sennewald advised that the intersection on Whipple is proposed to be improved �n connection with intersectton improvements,.noting in re- sponse to question, that the developer is expected to do the work. ,+ . . 0 4, . ADDITION TO PROPOSED RESOLUTION In response to statement by City Attorney Schricker,_�t was determined by Mayor Leipzig to be the con- sensus-of Council that,a t M rd paragraph be added stating as follows "3 The exceptions granted herein are hereby expressly con- ditioned upon compliance by the applicant with the terms and con- ditions of Resobution-No.� 7603,__entitled_"Resolution Conditionally Approving Application for Planned Development Permit Relating to Real Property �n the Vicinity of Cordilleras Road Between Upland �Road and Canyon Road in the•City of Redwood City', adopted by this Council on May 24, 1976, pertaining to the real property which is the sub�ect matter;of.the above-mentioned subdivision and .to certain lands not,within said subdivision but which ' provide, or:are proposed�;to provide, public access to saad subdivision " Mr._Schricker stated.that the�addition proposed�is rel,ated to terms and conditaons of_the>Tentative Subdivision Map, and „in response to suggestion of�Planning Director Schroeter, suggested r,eference should be made to-the Planned,Development Permit. , City Manager Fales asked,that«�the record include the second paragraph of his�report of July 26;:1976 as ,follows "While the report ,(of the Director of Public Works dated July 19) points , out that some difficulty may be experienced by the.developer in meeting this condition, subse- quent meetings with the Director of Public Works, Director of Planning and City Attorney indicate that, as lon9 as the condition regard�ng street•improvements is in the Planned Development Permit, and is attached as a condi�tion of the Tentattve Map, it will be the developers' responsibility to devise and propose a solution acceptable to the City and the other parties involved, between the time the Tentative Map is approved and the Final Map is submitted " MOTION Title having been read, Councilman Norris introduced the following resolution and moved, seconded by Councilman Biagi, its adoption with the inclusion of a paragraph 3 su9gested by the City Attorney (see above) .
