The plont will � <br /> be located a t 700 Cassia Street. �Councilman Anderson said ho could � <br /> see no ob,jection to the plant and moved that the permit be grantod. <br /> Councilman :Armstrong believed the Health Department should approve the <br /> premises. Councilman Anderson a mended his m otion to include approval <br /> of the Health Lepartment. The motio� was seconded by Councilman b'letcher� O <br /> and passed unani*nously. <br /> 7� �ity Attorney PdcCarthy advised that he believed the license appli- <br /> cable to this business would be that license applicable to general gro- <br /> cer9 merchants. The license would be figured on a quarterly t asis of <br /> month receipts. <br /> �ommunication wes received from Olesori and Hastings regarding pavin�; of right , <br /> of way, advising that it was their urrlerstanding that there is an agree- a <br /> ment between the City of Redwood City and the Southern Pacific Company <br /> that the reilroad compan� would errange to pave the right of way on <br /> Chestnut Street in order to maka the proporty fronting the right of way <br /> eccessible. They asked thet the Council petition bhe Southern Pacific <br /> to do this work. (;ity Manager Mead ad•�ised that the property oamer is <br /> required to pay for a portion of the worlc, The agreement was read and <br /> Councilman Armstrong moved that the petitioner be addressed a lottor <br /> informing him of his obligations and of the obligations of the railroad O <br /> company under this contract. The motion was secontled by Counciiman <br /> Fletcher. Councilman Granger asked that the railroad company be sant a <br /> copy of the potitioner's letter advising them that this request has been <br /> made. Councilman Armstrong accepted the ameridment to his motion.
