Councilman Anderson moved the <br /> decision be filed, seconded by Councilman McNulty, Motion pasaed unani- <br /> � mouely. <br /> Communication wae received from A. A. Moran, Port �anager, advieing that at the <br /> meeting of tY�e Port Commiseion on March 19tn, the Port Commiasion had di- <br /> rected him to write a letter confirming the Port Commission's underatanding <br /> of the tenure of tne Yacht Harbor at its present location on Redwood Creek, <br /> It is the underetanding tha.t the Port Gommission will not require the land <br /> now occupied by the Yacht Harbor for the next five years. If it 1e re- <br /> ' quired, the Port Oommission will assist the Recreation Commission, or wuo- <br /> ever hae jurisdiction of the Yacht Harbor, to find a new location, Coun- <br /> cilman Armstrong moved, seconded by Councilman Britschgi, that the communi- <br /> cation be referred to the Recreation Commiseion. Under the queation, C1ty <br /> Manager Blom suggested that trie Reereation Commiesion be asked to recon- <br /> eider its deciaion that it be relieped of the juriediction of the Yacht <br /> Harbor. Motion paased unanimouely, <br /> • Communication wae received from the Redwood City Traffic Study Gommittee recom- <br /> mending that a loading zone ne granted on Theatre 3treet at the door to the <br /> County Library. .The County Library had requeated two loading zones but, <br /> witri the shortage street parking facilities, only one loading zone was <br /> recommended. It was also recommended tnat the City Council take action to <br /> ' require any new substantial business to provide off etreet parking in con- <br /> junction with the businesa. Councilman Anderson moved, seconded by Council- <br /> man Armstrong, tnat trie recommendation of the Traffic Study Committee in <br /> rega.rd to one loading zone on Theatre Street at the door to the County <br /> , Library be accepted. The motion passed unanimously. <br /> Councilman Granger moved, seconded by Councilman Anderson, tnat the reCOm- <br /> mendation of the Traffic Study Committee in regard to requiring new businesses <br /> to provide off street parking be carried on the agenda to the next meeting. <br /> Motion paeaed unanimously. <br /> Communication was received from Cattish Bros. and Stevenson; contractora, re- <br /> � questing twenty feet of reaerved parking apace in front.of their business <br /> � <br />
