City Clerk Dodge advised that <br /> one proteat ha.d been received signed by eleven property owners in the 900 <br /> � block on Hudaon Street, One property owner aopeared and asked ho� the over- <br /> ' flow area was to be figured in regard to the etorm drainage covering the <br /> creek in the Reese Subdivision, City Manager Blom advised that the area had <br /> not been definitely defined as yet but that it would include the area nor- <br /> mally covered witri water for a lingth of time following rain, The major <br /> $ortion of the cost would be assessed to the abutting property owners and <br /> a relatively small portion of the cost would be assessed over the area. <br /> Councilman Granger expreased the opinion that it had originally been under- <br /> etood that future improvementa to Hudson 9treet would be borne by the pro- <br /> • perty ownere and he believed that tne city was going farther than agreed <br /> by expending gae tax funds for the improvements.
