R E 3 0 L U T I 0 N No. 307 AUTHORIZING AN EASEMENT FOR SANTTARY 9EWER TR'JNK LINE AS PART OF � ' BEWAGE TREATMENT AND DI3POSAL PLANT. RESOLVED, bp tne City Council of the City of Redwood.City that it finds and determinea and hereby declares: That public interest and necessity require the acquisition, construction and compl;etion by the City of Redwood City of a public improvement, namely, , a sanitary sewer trunk line in those certain lands hereafter in this resolu- tion described: ' That trie use of all of said lands for said sanitary sewer trunk line is a public use authorized by law; Taat the taking of an easement in said lands is necessary to and for sucri publio use, and that it ie neceesary that an easement in all of said lands be so taken; . Tnat said proposed sanitary server trunk line is planned and located in a manner �rhicn will be most compatibel with the greatest public good and the least private injury; • •, FURTHER RE$OLVED that the City Zdanager of thie City be and he is hereby authorized and empowered: , To acquire, in the name of this City, an easement in the hereinafter described lands by condemnation in accordance with the provisione of the Code of Civil Procedure of the State of California relating to eminent domain; to prepare and prosecute in the name of this City such suit or auite in the proper court having jurisdiction therein, as are necessary to condemn such easement in auch lands for said use; To make application to eaid court for an order fixing the amount or the emounts of such security in the way of money deposits as said court may direct to be made.upon the taking of possesaion of said lands or any of them by this City; and for an order permitting this City to take immediate poesession and uae of an easement as hereinafter described in said lands; To make deposit of sueh aecurity out of proper funds of tnis City in such amount or amounte ao fixed and determined and in such manner as said court, in which the condemnation proceedings hereby authorized are pending, may direct. - The real property hereinabove referred to is aituated in the City of Redwood City, County of San Mateo, State of California, and particularly described as followe; to-wit: An easement five (5) feet in vuidtn; immediately adjoining an • . easement presently held by this City along the Northeaeterly eide of sucn present easement from the Southeaeterly line of • � Rogers Street to tne Easterly line of Middlefield Road, the easement hotiv held by this City being en (10) feet in width on the Northe�,sterly side and immediately adjoining the Rancno EYugas Tine;��as shotivn on a map of Rancno de La.s Pulgas, here- tofore recorded in the office of the County Recorder of said .
