There was some discussion as to <br /> whether postcards should be sent to property o�vners allov�ing thern to protest <br /> the irnprovements.. City Manager Hlom pointed out that over 51%0 of the pro- � <br /> perty owners had signed the petition requesting tne improvements and that <br /> all would ha.ve a.n opportunity to protest before the proceedings were com- <br /> pleted. fie also suggested that tne improvements to Taft 9treet between Vera <br /> . and Jarnes Avenue be included in the same resolution of preliminary.deter- 1 <br /> mination. A petition had been received requesting improvements on this <br /> , street previously. Councilman McNulty offered adoption of resolution of <br /> preliminary determination for improvements on 3apphire Street between Jef- <br /> ferson Avenue and James Avenue and on Taft Street between Vera Avenue and <br /> , Jefferson Avenue.
