Councilman Britschgi amended his ' motion to provide that if an option is alreday held on the property condem- nation proceedings be instituted and if t'�ere is no option at present that the citf attempt to obtain one. The motion was seconded by Councilman Armstrong. . ��. . , There vaas more discussion on the matter a,nd Councilman Britschgi withdrew his motion t�ith the consent of the second and Councilman Ar:nstrong moved adoption of resolution a.uthorizing the City Attorney to start condernnation proceedings against the parking lot area in the event the ov�mer of the pro�- erty is unwilling to grant an option on the property to the city for the pur- chase of said property.
