HILTON <br /> Mayor of the City of Redwood Citp <br /> Citp Attorney MoCarthy advised that it cvas the auggestion of City Mana�er Blom that <br /> the two projecte, Grand and Lincoln and the Hudson Street project, be carried <br /> on as one project which would reault in a savings of publication coste, eto. <br /> ' The suggeation 9ua,s received favorably. City Attorney McCarthy also advised <br /> that Mr. Ernest YJilson suggeated that the bonda be issued under the 1915 Act <br /> rather than the 1911 Aet for the reason that he believed it would be poesible <br /> to get a better contract price. This suggeetion, hoveever, was not agreeable <br /> to the Council due to the pievious experience uncer this Act and it was <br /> thought the city would be accepting too much liability. Councilman Granger <br /> , oPfered for adoption resolution oF intention to make improvementa.on Hudson <br /> � Street and Grand and Lincoln Streeta under the 1911 Act,.�seconded by Council- <br /> man Armstrong. On roll call, resolution was unanlmously adopted. <br /> RESOLUT IOId No. 346 <br /> RESOLUTION OF INTENTION 1946-1 <br /> RE30LVED by the Citp Council of the City of Redwood City, Californi�,, <br /> '' that in its opinion public interest and conveniende require,•and that it is <br /> the lntention of said Council to order the following improvementa to be made <br /> in for said City, to-wit: <br /> SECTION 1. That Hudaon 3treet from Jefferson Avenue to Madieon Avenue <br /> be improved ae followe: <br /> a.) Conetructing concrete combined curb and gutter on each side of eaid <br /> s-treet. <br /> b.) Qonstructing new paving between existing pavement and new guttere <br /> on each eide of eaid street. <br /> ' c.) Resurfacing exiating pavement. <br /> 3ECTION 2. That Fiudson Street from Madison Avenue to Vera Avenue be im- <br /> proved as followe: <br /> a.) Remove eaistin� curbe and gutters and construct new curbs and gutter <br /> on each side of atreet. <br /> b.) New pa,ving between existing pavement and new guttere on each side <br /> of street. <br /> c.)
