<br /> SECTION 5. That Hudson Street Yrom Redwood Avenue to the northeaeterly
<br /> boundary of Woodside Acres, Map No. 1 as map thereof is recorded in the Office
<br /> of the Oounty Recorder of the County of 9an Mateo, said Btate, be improved
<br /> as follows: •
<br /> a.) Remove existing ourbs and gutters and sidewalks and construct new
<br /> curba and gutters and sidewalks on each side of etreet.
<br /> b.) New paoing between existing pavement and new curbe.
<br /> c;) Resurface existing pavement. ,
<br /> d.) Construct atorm drain along southwesterly eide of street.
<br /> BECTION 6. That Hudson Street from the northwesterly boundary of Wood-
<br /> side Acres Map No, l as shown on map thereof recorded as stated in Section
<br /> 5 hereof, to t�oodside Road be improved as followe:
<br /> a.) Construct concrete combined curbs and gutters on each side of etreet
<br /> b.) Reconstruct pavement.
<br /> c.) Construct etorm drain along portion of southwesterly side oY street.
<br /> d.) Remove portions of existing sidewalk and conetruct new sidewalk, a
<br /> BECTION 7. That Grand Street between Roosevelt Avenue and Ver� Avenue, •
<br /> and Lincoln Avenue Between Fulton 3treet and Hudson Btreet be improved as
<br /> followe:
<br /> a.) Construct pavement, including intersection of Grand 3treet and
<br /> Lincoln Avenue, and ineluding pavement at intersection at Lincoln Anenue
<br /> � and Fulton 3treet.to meet existing pavement on the southwesterly one-half of
<br /> said intersection,
<br /> b.) Conetruct concrete combined curb and gutter on eaah side of both ,
<br /> streete.
<br /> c.) Gonstruct sidewalk on each side of each street except where such
<br /> sidewalks have already been constructed. `�,
<br /> � d.) Construct 'sanitary sewer laterals to property lines on each side
<br /> of said portions of Grand Street and Lincoln Avenue,
<br /> SECTION S. Whenever any public street is herein referred to as run- 1
<br /> ning between two public streete� or from or to any publio street, the inter-
<br /> sections of the public streets referred to are included to the extent that
<br /> work shall be ehown on the plans to be done therein.
<br /> BECTION 9, Reference is hereby made to the following documente on
<br /> Yile in the Office of the City Clerk of said City, to-wit:
<br /> a.) Resolution No. 299 entitled "Resolution of Prelimina.ry Determi-
<br /> nation to Make Improvements in Hudson 8treet from JefFerson Avenue to
<br /> Woodside Road" adopted by said City Council on April 1, 1946.
<br /> b.) Resolution No. 300 entitled "Determiriation to Make Impronements
<br /> without Compliance with Innestigation Act" adopted by said City Council
<br /> on April 15, 1946.
<br /> c.) Resolutioxi No. 339 entitled "Resolution of Preliminary Determi-
<br /> nation to 3Sake �?ublio Improvements in Grand Street between Roosevelt and �
<br /> Vera Avenues and in Lincoln Avenue between Fulton and Hudaon 3treete°
<br /> adopted by said City Counoil on June 3, 1946.
<br /> d.) Reeolution No. 345 entitled °Determining to Make Public Improve-
<br /> ments without Compliance with Investigation Act" adopted by eaid City Coun=
<br /> cil on June 17, 1946. - ,
<br /> SECTION 10. All oP said work and improvemente are to be constructed at
<br /> the places and in the particular locationa of the forms, sizes and dimen-
<br /> sions and materials, and at the linea, grades and elevations, as shown and '
<br /> delineated upon the plans, profiles and specificaticne to be made therefor,
<br /> to be prepared and`filed in the Office of the Oitp Clerk of said City,
<br /> as hereinafter provided.
<br /> 3ECTION 11, There is to be excepted from the work above described any
<br /> of auch work already done to line and grade and marked "Exeepted" or shown
<br /> not to be done on said plans, profiles and specifications.
<br /> 3ECTION 12. 3aid Council does hereby adopt and establish ae the of-
<br /> ficial grades for said work, the grades and elevations to be ehown upon said '
<br /> plans, profiles and epecifications.
<br /> SECTION 13; VPIiEREAB, said contemplated vuork and impronements are of
<br /> more than local or ordinary public benefit, said Counoil does hereby make
<br /> the coste and expenses thereoY and the incidental expenses of the proceed-
<br /> ings chargeable upon an assessment diatrict, whioh district said Council
<br /> declares to be the district benefitted by said work and improvements and to
<br /> be assessed to pay the coate and expenses therefor, and the exterior boun-
<br /> daries of which assesement district are as shown on a diagram or map marked
<br /> "Exhibit A" attached hereto, incorporated herein, and made. a part hereof by �
<br /> reference.
