Mr. Primas appeared and <br /> ' etated that inaemuch as he could not get a lease on the property he did not <br /> want to building but intended to erect a wooden one. It wae <br /> the general consensus of the Council that no permit ehould be granted unlees <br /> the met the_requirements of the fire diatrict. <br /> ' Mr. W, L. Meuesdorffer appeared beYore the Council in regard to a communibation <br /> which the City Clerk read in regard to the Currie Manufacturing Company ex- <br /> tending framework for'construction of a building over the Meuasdorffer pro- <br /> perty line. The City Attorney advised the Council that they had no jurisdic- <br /> tion in the matter. Upon thie advice, the Council took no action in the <br /> matter. <br /> •. Councilman Armetrong moved, seconded by Councilman PPerder, filing of affidavit of <br /> publication of ordinance governing the eolicitation of funde. Motion passed <br /> unanimously. <br /> Councilman Armatrong offered adoption of ordinance govering the aolicitation oY <br /> funda and moved its adoption, seconded by Councilman McNulty. On roll call <br /> ordinance wae unanimously adopted, � <br /> ' Oouncilman Britschgi moved, seconded by Councilman Armstrong, filing of affidavit <br /> of publication of ordinance rezoning Middle field Road Yrom Bradford 9treet <br /> to Bayehore Highway from seoond residential district to business zone. <br /> Motion passed unanimously. <br /> Councilman Granger moved adoption of ordinanoe rezoning Middlefield Road Yrom <br /> Bradford Street to Sayshore Highvuay from second residential district to busi- <br /> nese zone, seconded by Councilman Armstrong, Under the queation, City Clerk <br /> Dodge read two letters, one from Mrs. Elizabeth Thompson and one from dRrs, <br /> � A. F. Rohl, proteating the change in zoning, The letters were ordered filed. <br /> On roll call, ordinance was unanimously adopted. <br /> Councilrnan Armetrong moved, seconded by Oouncilman filing of affidavit of <br /> publication of ordinance rezoning portion of Main 8treet and Broadway to Fire <br /> Diatrict I.
