' The area hereinabove referred to and the streets to be eo improved are ae follows: a, Quart2 Street between Madison and Vera Avenues; b.� Ruby 3treet between Jefferson and Vera Avenues; c, Sapphire Street between James and Vera Avenues; . d, Topaz 8treet between Jefferson and Vera Avenues; e, Madison Ayenue between.Qua.rtz Street and the southwesterly�City line. f. Vera Avenue between Valota Road and the southwesterly City line; g. Taft 3treet between Vera and Rooaevelt Avenues; h, All intersections of said Streets and Avenuea excepting the inter- � section of Quartz Btreet and Madison Avenue and the intersections of cross streets with Jefferaon Avenue; �.) A storm drain structure in Sapphire 8treet acrosa the creek travers- ing said street between Jeffereon and James Anenues; k,) A storm drain structure in Raft Street acroas the creek travereing said street between Vera and Roosevelt Avenues; m.) The acquieition of�property for the opening of Vera Avenue between Ruby Street and a point thereon approximately 114 feet southweeterly from the southwesterly line of Junipero 3treet. There was some di� 1, cussion in regard to the rate of interest on the bonds and it wae decided to apply 5� interest.. Public hearing is to be held July 18th. Councilman Granger asked if the contract to be let would cover the entire job. City Manager Blom replied that the contract would coner the entire job ao far as can be seen at the present time.
