Vera Avenue between Valota Road and the southwesterly City line; <br /> g. Taft 3treet between Vera and Rooaevelt Avenues; <br /> h, All intersections of said Streets and Avenuea excepting the inter- <br /> � section of Quartz Btreet and Madison Avenue and the intersections <br /> of cross streets with Jefferaon Avenue; <br /> �.) A storm drain structure in Sapphire 8treet acrosa the creek travers- <br /> ing said street between Jeffereon and James Anenues; <br /> k,) A storm drain structure in Raft Street acroas the creek travereing <br /> said street between Vera and Roosevelt Avenues; <br /> m.) The acquieition of�property for the opening of Vera Avenue between <br /> Ruby Street and a point thereon approximately 114 feet southweeterly <br /> from the southwesterly line of Junipero 3treet. <br /> The improvemente hereinabove referred to are as follows: <br /> The grading of all atreets hereinabove mentioned and the construction of <br /> a 6 inch waterbound macadam base and 1-1/2 inch asphaltio top panement, com- <br /> ' bined concrete cement curbe and gutters on each side of each etreet and 4 <br /> inch concrete cement sidewalka 5 Yeet wide along each eide of each street. <br /> . � e _ <br /> The above and foregoing Reaolution wae paesed and adopted by the Council <br /> of the City of Redwood City at a regular meeting thereof held on the lst day <br /> of July, 1946, by the following vote; <br /> AYE3, and in favor of the paseage and adoption of the foregoing Resolu- <br /> tion: Councilmen: ARMSTRONG, BRITSCHGI, GRANGER, McNULTY, SWIFT, V'�ERDER and <br /> MAYOR HILTON. <br /> NOE8, Councilmen: NONE <br /> ABSENT: Oouncilmen: NONE <br /> � <br /> YP, VJ. There was some di� <br /> 1, cussion in regard to the rate of interest on the bonds and it wae decided to <br /> apply 5� interest.. Public hearing is to be held July 18th. Councilman Granger <br /> asked if the contract to be let would cover the entire job. City Manager Blom <br /> replied that the contract would coner the entire job ao far as can be seen at <br /> the present time. He advised that no city funde are to be spent on this pro- <br /> • ject. Councilman Armetrong offered for adoption Resolution of Intention 19462 , <br /> � <br />
