RALPH S. DODGE
Clerk of the City of Redwood City
I hereby appiove the foregoing resolution thia
lst day of July, 1946:
. .. ,
W, V7, HILTONt ' '
• Mayor of the City of Redwood City
Citq Manager Blom advised that several of the officials from the Court Ho.ise had
contacted him in regard to the parking problem around the Court House.
Through a private agreement, cars have not been tagged in the two hour zone
around the Court House but recently private cara have been tagged. -It• was
his opinion that it was not satisfactory to allow the county employees to
park in this section all day long and he beliened there were sufficient
parking places within two blocke of the Court House. It has been suggested '
by some of the county officials that the two hour parking limit be elimi-
nated on Marshall Street. It was the general consensus of the Council that
the parking limit ahould be enforced and Councilman Britschgi suggested
that the City Manager advise the county officials that the limit is to be
adhered to in the future and setting a reasonable time to notify all em- '
ployees of the new practice.
City Manager Blom advised that the city had egpended 1062 toward the 4th of
July Rodeo, which sum included an allowance for the removal of some of the
facilities. He advised thatvery few of the improvements could be con-
sidered permanent,,
