Mr, Davinroy asked to <br /> be notified ae to the date Mr. Tofanelli was to appear before the Council. ' <br /> City Manager Blom advised that only, one bid had been received on the road oil <br /> distributor.. The bid was from Edward R. Bacon Company on a Littleford, <br /> 400 gallon utility apray tank for an amount of �1390 plus sales tax. <br /> ,� <br /> Immediate delivery was promised. The estimate figured for this piece of ' <br /> equipment had been �$1600 and City Manager Blom stated that the piece of <br /> equipment offered is supposed to sell for approximately that figure but, . <br /> because of the fact that the apecificatione did not epecify an ineulated <br /> tank, the equipment had been offered at the lower Yigures. It was the <br /> recommendation of the City Manager to accept the bid. Councilman Werder <br /> moved, seconded by Councilman Swift, that the bid of Edward Bacon Com- � <br /> pany be accepted. Motion passed unanimously. <br /> City Manager Blom reported that in regard to plans for Broadway No. 3, the <br /> majority of that property has changed hands and the new owners were not <br /> entirely in accordance with the plans. Work had been stopped on the plans <br /> until an agreearent had been reached, b4r. Ludwig Prerder, representative <br /> of the new ownera, advised the City �anager that the ner•� owners rvere now ' <br /> willing to proceed with the original plans. City Manager Blom recom- <br /> mended that work be continued with the completion of the plana. The <br /> new owners have made no request for a change in the plans up to now and <br /> if they do so in the future, it was the suggestion of the City Manager <br /> that they be charged for the plans to date and an agreement reaehed in <br /> ., .� <br /> regard to new plane. This suggestion was accepted. <br /> City Attorney McCarthy advised that he had sent copiea of the propoaed ordinance <br /> setting up a narking district and also copies the propoaed amendment to � <br /> Ordinance No. 460 to allow use permits to various members of the Council. � <br /> for their consideration. He asked that these two matters be laid over to <br /> • the next meeting to allow time for further study. Councilman Granger and <br /> Councilman Britschgi expressed themselves ae not being entirely in favor <br /> of the amendment to the zoning ordinance. ' <br /> Councilman Granger asked if the recent Charter amendments had been submitted to <br /> , the State ae yet.
