Mr. McCarthy advised that the checks of the two ' <br /> lowest bidders be held, to guard against possible uvithdratival of bid and that ' <br /> the City Clerk be instructed to return the other checks or bonds to the <br /> bidders. So moved by Councilman Granger, seconded by Councilman VVerder <br /> and unanimously pasaed. <br /> TENTATIVE b?AP OF HUDSON PARK, INTRODUCTION OF: City Engineer dVilson presented <br /> tentative map of Hudson Park Subdivision (David and Clara Holder, subdivi- ' <br /> ders). The map indicated some violations due to deDth and width of creek <br /> running through the property, but Mr. Plilson endorsed the general plan as <br /> satisf�.ctory, subject to full compliance in regards to streets and sewers. <br /> Street improvemente must either have been installed or cash be available <br /> for full complia,nce, before a final map can be accepted. Attorney Mc � <br /> Carthy informed the Council that lots cannot be sold prior to final accep- <br /> tance. Councilman Granger moved, seconded by Councilman McNulty, that <br /> the map of Hudson Park be aecepted if it meet the requirements of the <br /> Planning Commiasion. Motion unanimously passed. Councilman Granger moved, <br /> seconded by Councilman McNulty, that City Engineer YJilson write a letter <br /> to the subdividers setting forth the conditions of acceptance of the map <br /> to eliminate possibility of misunderstanding. ' <br /> MARTIN TRANSPORATIGN COP�iPANY BUS STOPS: City b4anager Blom presented a tentative <br /> ; <br /> plan of bus stops and route for the Martin Transportation Company. Coun- <br /> � cilman Granger moved, seconded by Councilman McNulty, that the tentative <br /> plan be accepted and that the City Manager be authorized to proceed with . <br /> necessary further negotiations with the bus company. 3lotion carried <br /> , unanimously. , _ <br /> CONTRAGT 'B�ITH COUNTY TO ACn�UIRE PROPERTY--Councilma.n Granger moved the adoption <br /> of resolution authorizing the City to contract with the county for the � <br /> aco,uisition of two additional lots in the recreational area, Seconded by <br /> Councilman McNulty a.nd passed. On roll call Councilman Syift and Hritachgi <br /> abaent. <br /> R E 9 0 L U T I 0 N No. 374 <br /> AUTHORIZING A CONTR.4CT V�ITH THE BOARD OF SUPF.RVI30RS TO AC�UIRE TAX ' <br /> DEEDED LAND FOR COMMUNITY CENTER AND RECREATIONAL PARK <br /> RESOLVED, by the City Council of this City that this City enter into <br /> a contract with the Board of Supervieors of the County of San Mateo, State <br /> of California, for the a.oquisition by this City of the title of the State <br /> of California to a11 State owned land in Lots 15 and 18 of Block 42, as <br /> shown on a map entitled "Centra.l Park No. 2" heretofore recorded in the <br /> office of the County Recorder of the County of San �dateo, said State, said ' <br /> property being more particularly described in Exhibit "A" of the contract <br /> hereinabove referred to; <br /> FLiRTHER RESOLVED, that the City Manager be and he is hereby authorized <br /> • to negotiate with said Board of Supervisors to fix the price of said lots <br /> and to execute a contra.ct on beha.lf of this City Council, <br /> I hereby certify that`the foregoing Resolution was passed and adopted <br /> by the Council of the City of Redwood City at a regular meeting thereof <br /> held on the 5th day of August, 1946, by the following vote; � <br /> AYES, and in favor of the oassage and adoption of the foregoing <br /> . � <br />
