Under the question, Councilman Britsc:igi expressed the

opinion that some improve;nents should be made at the Yacht Harbor for the
enjoyment of the people using it. He believed some improvement program
snould be taken up with the Port Commiseion wno has indicated tnat if the
city made certain improvements the Commission wouldcagree in the event it
was necessary to move the Yacht Harbor soon to pay the cost of replacing
/
j those improvemente in some other place. It was the general consensus of
`" the Council that a meeting ehould be held vrith the Port Commission in
regard to thie matter, Motion passed unanimously. It vrae believed inat the granting of the exoeptions vJOUld
not be detrimental to tne public welfare or injurious to otner property
adjacent thereto. AYfidavit of David Holder was presented setting forth
the necessity of aubdividing the lots as saown on the map. Councilman
Fletcher moved, seconded by Gouncilman Granger, acceptanee of the Planning
Cormiasion's recomr, endation. Under the questSon, Couacilman Britsengi
expressed his uncail.lingneas to allov a lot under 50 feet frontage in Red-
wood City. City Manager Slom explained that the adjoining area avas gen-
erally divided into 25 foot lots before that property was annexed to the
city, After some discuesion, it was decided that it would improve that
area by adopting the map as presented and Councilman Britschgi withdrew
his objection. •Acting City Engineer Randlett advised the Council that
, tnis is a tentative map and that improvements will be shown on the final
map, Tne motion passed unanimouely.
Communication was received from Greene Bros., San Bruno, Oalifornia, asking •
to be relieved of furnishing the city with a bond in the amount of 8000
to insure the improvemente being.put in aubdivision at Roosevelt and Ring
Streets.
