Mayor,of the City of Redwood City <br /> City Clerk Dodge reported that, after a cons�.zltation with City Manager Blom, it <br /> was decicied that 'it would be advisable to increase the number of election <br /> precincts from ten to eleven. In triat way, all of the precincts wovld have <br /> three county precincts with the exception of one rvnich would have four <br /> county precincts, The County Clerk had also recommended that there be eleven � <br /> precincte instead oE ten as at the last election. This was agreeable to the <br /> Council and the City Clerk was designated to appoint election officials. <br /> City Attorney McCarthy presented a letter which the 3an Francisco Bank wae to <br /> sign assuring that it holds �80,000 deposited by the Land Development Compa ny � <br /> � wnich it will continue to hold until the com_oletion of tne nublic im- <br /> provements required by tne City Council and acceptance thereof in tract known <br /> as Redwood Terrace No. 1. There vras a second paragraph to the proposed letter <br /> referring to non-performanae of the contract within the time required, however, <br /> after discussion it wae decided this paragraph vras not necessary.
