<br /> 1. The improvement of Beech Street from the Northeasterly linec:of E1 Oam-
<br /> ino Real to the Southwesterly line of Main Street and from the Northeast-
<br /> erly line of the 3outhern Pacific Railroad right-of-way to the Southwester-
<br /> ly line of Stambaugh Street, for the full width thereof between curbe by
<br /> scarifying the aurface, reshapin� the surface, supplying new base material
<br /> and placing a one-half (�) inch armor coat of asphaltum thereon, and in-
<br /> atalling certain incidental drainage structuree.
<br /> , 2, All of said work and improvements are to be constructed at the
<br /> places and in the particular locations of the forms, aizes dimensione and
<br /> materials and to the lines and grades and the elevations as to be shoam
<br /> and delineated upon plans, profiles and specifications to be made therefor
<br /> and adopted by this City Council.
<br /> 3, The cost of eaid work and improvements�shall be assessed against
<br /> property abutting the portione oY said street where said work and improve-
<br /> ments are to be constructed, proportionate to the front footage of such
<br /> ' property thereon.
<br /> 4. Notice is hereby given that serial bonds to represent the unpaid
<br /> assessments and 'oear interest at the rate of not to exceed five per cent
<br /> (5%) per annurn, will be issued pureuant to Article 1, 9ection 3 and Sec-
<br /> tion 3 and 8ection 5 of Ordinance No. 333 of said City, commonly known as
<br /> designated as ° Redwood City Improvement Procedure Ordinance" adopted March
<br /> 14, 1932, as amended, the last inetallment of which bonds shall mature
<br /> nine (9) years from the second day of January next succeeding October
<br /> fifteenth following their date.
<br /> � 5, Except as herein otherwise provided for the iseuance of bonds,
<br /> all of the above propoeed work shall be done in pursua,nce of the pro-
<br /> vieions of Article 1 of said Redwood City Improvement Procedure Code,
<br /> 6. Notice is hereby given that on Monday, the 4th day of March,
<br /> 1946, at the hour of 8;00 o� P,�. at the Council Chambers of�eaid
<br /> City, in trie City Hall of said City, are hereby fixed as the time and
<br /> place when and where anp and all persone interested may appear and ahow
<br /> cause, if any they hane, why this City Council ahould not find and deter-
<br /> mine that public convenience and necessity require the improvementer.de-
<br /> scribed and referred to in thie resolution without further compliance
<br /> with the proviaions of Division 4 of the 3treets and Highways Code of the
<br /> State of California,
<br /> ' 7. The City Clerk shall give notice of the adoption of thie reaolu-
<br /> tion by publishing a Notice of Proposed Local Improvement once in the
<br /> 'RedMOOd City Tribune, a dailq newspaper published and circulate in,:said
<br /> City, and by posting tne same on or near the Council Chamber door of said
<br /> Council, said posting and publication to be had at least ten daye before
<br /> . said date of hearing,
<br /> Passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Redwood City at a
<br /> regular'meeting thereof held on the 18tn day of February, 1946, by the
<br /> following vote:
