It was the � <br /> recommendation of the City Manger that, because of no single applicants <br /> for these positions, the married wornen be appointed. Councilman Britachgi <br /> moved, seconded by Councilman Granger, that the recommendation of the City r <br /> Mana.ger be accepted in regard to Library, Water and Tax Department em- � <br /> ployees, until such married employees can be replaced, the period not to <br /> exceed one year. Motion paesed unanimously, <br /> Councilman Armetrong moned, seconded by Councilman Britschgi, adoption of reso- <br /> lution transferring �500 from the unbudgeted reserne to the Recmeation <br /> Department fund, City Manager Blom advised tnat tnis depart�ent was de- � <br /> riving funds from the operating of the kiln, which funds would be trans- <br /> ferred to the estimated receipts. On roll call, resolution ceas unani- <br /> mously adopted with Councilman Anderson a.nd Fletcher abaent. <br /> RESOLUTION No. 277 <br /> AUTHORIZING TRANBFER OF A PORTIOiQ OF UNBUDGETED RESERVE TO RECREA= <br /> TION DEPARTnHENT, AGCOUNT NOS, 44Z-1A-442-2 <br /> RE80LVED that the sum of �500.00 be and it is hereby authorized to � <br /> be transferred by the City Treasurer from unbudgeted Reserve to Recreation <br /> Department, said amount of �500.00 to be used for carrying ori Recreation <br /> prograYn which has been curtailed due to termination of Lanham Act Funds, <br /> The above and foregoing resolution was paesed and adopted by the <br /> Council of the City of Redwood City at a regular meeting thereof held <br /> on tne 18th day of Gebruary, 1946, by, the following vote: <br /> AYES, and in favor of the passage and adoption of the foregoing <br /> reaolution: <br /> Councilmen: ARMSTRONG, BRITSCHGI, GRAiJGER, McNULTY and HILTON, <br /> NOEB, and againet the paesage and adoption of the foregoing resolu- <br /> tion: Councilmen; NONE � <br /> ABSENT: Councilmen: ANDER80N and FLETCHER <br /> W.
