State Controller's Report: The City of Redwood City currently has the progremming <br /> in place to report the required earnings information to the State Controller (SC) for <br /> the Government Compensation in California website, which is mandated annually. <br /> The City of Redwood City will provide all data in the format required by the SC to the <br /> City of San Carlos for review and submittal of the annual report. If additional <br /> programming is required due to changes in the reporting requirements, Redwood <br /> City will charge San Carlos the cost of programming necessary to comply with the <br /> new requirements. <br /> B. Public Records Act Requests: �The City of Redwood City has the ability to respond to <br /> certain standard Public Records Act requests. If additional special programming is <br /> required to produce such reports, the City of Redwood City will charge the City of <br /> San Carlos for the cost of developing the program to produce the required reports. <br /> C. Audits: The City of Redwood City will provide all reporting necessary in the event of <br /> a payroll-related audit of the City of San Carlos. <br /> D. Payroll Budgeting Data: The City of Redwood City will provide the City of San Carlos <br /> with payroll data exported into Excel upon San Carlos's request for analysis, <br /> reconciliation, auditing and budgeting purposes. The City of Redwood City reserves <br /> the right to charge the City of San Carlos a reasonable fee for extensive or unusual <br /> report programming needs. <br /> 6. Pavroll Conversion Schedule and Timelines <br /> Payroll transition for fire and miscellaneous employees will be completed in calendar year 2011 <br /> as follows: <br /> A. San Carlos Fire Department sworn employee payroll will go live with the pay period <br /> beginning September 26, 2011 and ending October 9, 2011. During the implementation <br /> process, the City of Redwood City and the City of San Carlos will cooperate to initiate <br /> payroll testing and confirm that the payroll is processing correctly prior to September <br /> 26, 2011. The City of Redwood City staff will coordinate with the City of San Carlos staff <br /> to validate general ledger accounts as necessary. Redwood City will issue the first <br />
