Montessori School, 2323 Euclid Avenue, Redwood Citv <br /> Proposal to Provide Traffic Engineering Services <br /> C. RKH will use previously collected 24-hr., directional speed data on McGarvey <br /> Avenue in two locations between Alameda de las Pulgas and Roosevelt Avenue. <br /> 2. Existing Conditions. <br /> A. RKH will utilize the previously created traffic analysis network of the stddy area <br /> streets and intersections using the TRAFFIX network modeling program.' _ <br /> B. RKH will calculate the LOS (Levels of Service) at each of the three study area <br /> intersections for the morning (7-9 a.m.) and aftemoon (2-6 p.m.) peak hours. For <br /> the afternoon peak period the LOS will be calculate for the hour of peak activity <br /> of the schooUday caze and for the traditional work-to-home peak hour using the <br /> procedures contained in HCM2000. <br /> 3. Project Traftic. <br /> A. RKH will estimate traffic generation for the school based on data provided <br /> through the Ciry by the school owner(s). The data should include time ofday and <br /> numbers of students arrivi»g and leaving the schooJ and the time of day and <br /> numbers of children being dropped off and picked up at the day care faciliry. The <br /> data should indicate the number of children per vehicle. <br /> B. RKli will estimate project vehicle disuibution on the surrounding street system <br /> based on data provided through the City by the school owners. The data should <br /> include the nearest cross street intersection of the residence of each of the <br /> students and children attending the school and child care facility. <br /> 4. Project Traftic Impacts. <br /> A. RKH will add project traffic to existing traffic through the tluee study area <br /> intersections for the morning and two afternoon peak traffic hours. <br /> B. RKH will calculate the LOS (Levels of Service) for Existing + Project conditions <br /> at each of the three study azea intersections for the morning (7-9 a.m.) and <br /> afrernoon (2-6 p.m.) peak hours.
