B. - Page 4 <br />ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW <br />As the lead agency, the City of Redwood City has determined that the acceptance of <br />the Water Master Plan Report meets the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) <br />exemption criteria as set forth in CEQA Guidelines Section 15262 (Feasibility and <br />Planning Studies). After the City Council accepts the Water Master Plan Report, <br />individual projects or groups of projects will be initiated and proceed through their own <br />design, environmental review, permitting (if needed) and construction steps, which will <br />occur over the 20 -year life of the Report. This approach is consistent with how the City <br />performs environmental review for other types of CIP projects. <br />�-- rt_ <br />S.
