TENTATIVE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br /> AND REDWOOD CITY POLICE SERGEANTS ASSOCIATION (PSA) <br /> I 70.1 Medical Insurance <br /> 70.1.1 The City agrees to contract with the California Public Employee's Retirement <br /> System (PERS) for participation under the Public Employees Medical and <br /> I Hospital Care Act (Government Code Section 22750�, et, seq.), pursuant <br /> specifically to Government Code Section 22892 and 22850, provided however, <br /> that upon the request of the City, the parties will re-open this Section 10.1.1 to <br /> provide a different group health plan. <br /> 10.1.2 , , , The Citys <br /> maximum contribution for each eliaible, active employee for a Health Benefit <br /> Plan (as referenced in Government Code 22892) shall not exceed the <br /> CaIPERS minimum contribution. <br /> , . , and <br /> shall be adjusted annually by the PERS board to reflect any change to the <br /> medical care component of the Consumer Price Index and shall be rounded to <br /> the nearest dollar. <br /> 10.2 Cafeteria Plan <br /> 10.2_1�:3Available Benefits: -_The City shall establish in accordance with Section 125 of <br /> the IRS Code, a Cafeteria Plan for the ourpose of arovidina emolovees access <br /> to various health and welfare benefits. Benefits available throuah the Cafeteria <br /> Plan include, but are not limited to: <br /> A. Group Health Plan Medical Premiums <br /> B. Flexible S�endinq Account for Dependent Care <br /> C.
