TENTATIVE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br /> AND REDWOOD CITY POLICE SERGEANTS ASSOCIATION (PSA) <br /> the Group Health Benefits Plan in compliance with Government code Section <br /> I �-422750, et. seq. <br /> Such costs include, but are not limited to, surcharges and/or administrative <br /> fees. , <br /> Effective Januarv 1. 2012. the Citv's monthlv contribution for each eliqible full- <br /> time emolovee for the aforementioned Cafeteria Plan shall be eaual to ninetv <br /> percent (90%) of the �remium of the health olan and level of coveraae selected <br /> bv the emolovee. up to ninetv oercent (90%1 of the CaIPERS Bav Area Kaiser <br /> Family Premium per emolovees. minus anv costs incurred bv the Citv to <br /> maintain the Cafeteria"Plan in comoliance with IRS Code Section 125. and <br /> minus anv costs incurred bv the Citv to maintain the Health Benefits Plans <br /> under Government code Section 22750. et. sea. Such costs include. but are <br /> not limited to surcharqes. and/or administrative fees. <br /> I 10.2_3�5 For employees covered by the MOU, this amount shall be prorated. <br /> (For permanent part-time employees working (20) or more hours per week <br /> covered by this MOU this amount shall be prorated.) <br /> 10.2_44� In the event the above listed amount plus the city payment towards <br /> health benefit plan premiums, specified in 10.1.2, 10.2_2a-4 and 10.2_3�5 <br /> above, are insufficient to pay 100% of the premiums required of employees <br /> enrolled in any one of the Group health benefit plans, the City shall make a <br /> payroll deduction from the employee's pay to cover the difference in cost. <br /> I 10.2_5�:-� The health benefit plans offered shall be those of the California Public <br /> Employee's Retirement System (PERS) provided however, upon the request of <br /> I the City, the parties will re-open this Section 10.2_5�,� to meet and confer on <br /> modifying 10.2_5a,� to provide a different group health plan. It is understood <br /> that any change from the group health plans offered by the California Public <br /> Employee's Retirement System (PERS) will only be made by mutual <br /> agreement between the City of Redwood City and the Police Sergeants <br /> Association. <br /> I 10.2_6�8 For employees who have ten (10) years of service and retire under the <br /> City's retirement plan, the retirement stipend paid by the City shall be equal to <br /> June 3, 2011 — City <br /> Page 6 <br />
