6.3.A. - Page 5 <br />2008 and findings were incorporated into the City's new General Plan that was adopted <br />by the City Council on October 11, 2010; <br />WHEREAS, the Redwood City Parks, Recreation and Community Services <br />Commission recently updated the Parks Impact Fee Project List to revise and include <br />additional projects that meet the criteria set forth in state law and the Redwood City <br />Municipal Code; and <br />WHEREAS, Parks Impact Fees imposed upon development projects by the City <br />and deposited in the Parks Impact Fund are intended to be utilized for the installation, <br />acquisition, construction and improvement of park improvements and shall not be used <br />for routine maintenance of facilities. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. The recitals set forth above are true and correct, and are hereby incorporated by <br />this reference as if fully set forth in their entirety. <br />2. The City Council approves the updated list of park improvements, attached <br />hereto as Exhibit "A" and incorporated herein, which shall serve as the City's <br />Parks Impact Fee Project List. <br />3. The Parks Impact Fee Project List will remain on file with the Director of Parks, <br />Recreation, and Community Services or designee. <br />4.
