Cedar Street <br /> The project had a groundbreaking ceremony in spring 2011 and will consist of <br /> 14 studio units of supportive housing for extremely low-income individuals. <br /> Agency funds paid for fee subsidies and offsite improvements related to the <br /> construction, which is currently underway. (Goal 3, 5) <br /> RDA Expenditure During 2010/11: $102,370 <br /> PROJECTS -AGENCY GENERAL FUND <br /> 4. Courthouse Plaza — The RDA hired a furniture, fixture and equipment <br /> consultant to appraise the improvements in one of the kiosks at Courthouse <br /> Square to determine the negotiations to remove the tenant out of the kiosk. <br /> The Agency also funded an electrical amperage upgrade for one of the kiosks. <br /> (Goal 1) <br /> RDA Expenditure During 2010/11: $12,535 <br /> 5. Marina Area Planning Study (Docktown/Maple Street) — The Agency <br /> conducted feasibility studies for properties along the Bayfront and Redwood <br /> Creek area by retaining a consultant to conduct the following tasks: <br /> • identify parcels within the project area that has the potential to be <br /> redeveloped, <br /> • identify a process to engage and solicit input from stakeholders, <br /> • conduct market analysis, <br /> • craft a planning process <br /> • provide an analysis of impacts and benefits of infrastructure changes, <br /> • design linkages from downtown to the water, and <br /> • conduct legal work. <br /> The work ceased on this project due to the deferred maintenance and other <br /> conditions at the site that requires substantial public funds. (Goal 1, 5) <br /> RDA Expenditure During 2010/11: $158,333. <br /> 6. Downtown Precise Plan - The Downtown Precise Plan (DTPP), adopted by <br /> the Council in May 2007, was established to facilitate private and public <br /> investment actions in the Downtown for the purpose of revitalization. It <br /> establishes the primary means of regulating land use and development within <br /> the Precise Plan area (bounded generally by EI Camino Real, Maple St, <br /> Veteran's Blvd and Brewster Ave.), which is also located within the <br /> Page 2 <br />
